Such Times

Whatever people may think, black spandex and leather will never go out of style. Okay, okay, perhaps it may need a few adjustments the first time around to fit all shapes and sizes of those daring enough to venture outside the social norms though nothing says 'Hello' as a finely fitted leather jacket with the matching corset and pants.
I must admit I am a serious comic book fan, the way images slide across pages and into the imagination... well its incredible. My favorite comic hero/villan, which ever way you decide to see her, belongs to Salina Kyle aka Catwoman. There is just something about the way she flitts and moves across every page, in her comic style of fighting crime and stealing a few jewels from the rich along the way.
perhaps it is the fact that she is not the typical girlscout of a character in the choices of her life. In the end she has just the right amount of goodness inside of her to accomplish the right acts in the end to make it count. Lets face it, society and its bureaucrats are already corrupted, some beyond repair than others...
In a way I have decided to be my own crime fighting force, one that stalks the night in need of some sort of redemption of which this world cannot give. Though I dont own my own black leather outfit that makes heads turn, I believe I will manage. My words will be enough.
As a fellow pedestrian by day and a crime fighter by night, I will show that things lurking in the dark can still haunt you. Even after they are brought into the light.
